Alecia Hoyt’s adventures across the United States, in words, videos and photographs

I’m in Washington, through June 15th! 5000 miles down, ??? to go~

We are in Seattle, a little chilly in the rain, but making it through.  My brother and I have about 3 weeks left to train for the climb up Mt. Rainier, and are going into the final push together.  The Scotty is parked in Shary and Ryan’s driveway and it has been pretty nice having hot showers and flush toilets for the last 10 days!  Not to mention a refridgerator and full kitchen : )  Oh, and the company has been pretty nice too ; p

Haven’t taken too many photographs since we have been here, as the rain makes me a little camera shy~

But, I would LOVE to work a bit while I’m here!  If you or anyone you know in the Washtington and / or Oregon area needs any type of wedding or portrait photography, please have them get ahold of me : )

    ahh no, caught!
Due to a couple of…ahem…technical difficulties with the Scotty, I made a beeline to my brother’s place in Seattle. I was sad actually to do nothing in Oregon but drive through : ( But, we got the old girl (Scotty) fixed up, so I’m considering driving down there next week to check things out~~ wanna get together and go for a hike with the doggies?

  4. Alecia- Glad you are having fun.let me know if you are going to be up in the NE section of Washington or NW Montana. We are going to be buying some land up there and building a cabin soon!

ahh thanks for the luck! I did a training climb to Camp Muir this past weekend, 4700ft up, in the snow. craziness : )
I’ll definitely be going through northern WA and Montana, mid-June-ish. A cabin up in that area sounds amazing, what a great little summer getaway it will be~~

Congratulations on your conquest. Looks like we just missed each other. We were admiring the mountain from a far on the 8th at Paradise. You had amazing views from the top, I was hoping to see your shots from the base also. We stayed next to you mountain guides shop at the base. I kept hoping to seeing you, but with no cell phone coverage in Alaska or at Mt Rainer I couldn’t call. If you go back towards Oregon, make a stop at Mt St Helens, and Crater lake. be Safe and Happy

ahh no, we were there at the same time! what a bummer that I missed you guys! Although I was pretty tired when I got down from the mountain that day, and may have been drooling on myself!
